On repeat playthroughs, I think Thracia is pretty easy once you realize how supports work and don't miss out on all the goodies from side chapters. I still remember from my first playthrough decades ago how I missed out on like 50% of the side chapters. You basically don't get any mages at all if you don't do side chapters!

I'm playing through the GBA game and so far it hasn't been hard, but I think I have lost every new cool unit that shows up. I got a unicorn girl and then was like sweet let's go fly her somewhere and attack, but her ability just means she can fly to a space and then get swarmed by enemies. So I've just been rocking the first few people the game gave me.
