>>734219597I think Poppy lost faith in the experiments after the Hour of Joy. The original plan was just to escape (maybe create their own civilization) and instead everyone listened to the prototype and murdered hundreds of people. Most of them weren’t even evil and just bystanders. Not to mention the Prototype taking the orphans and doing who knows what to them. And the experiments cannibalizing each other. That made Poppy see the true colors of everyone.
