I think it looks nice and I enjoyed playing it after the initial learning curve. But it's not worth 40 bucks + subscription if you're on console. I'd happily play more rounds if it was free, but as is, I'll wait to see what happens. And Yotei Legends + Saros are coming out soon so I've got enough Sony produced stuff that this isn't that enticing on its own.

One thing I will give them credit for is that they actually tried to make this garbo visual mess real.You can tell they had some sort of vision.But it's just so fucking ugly. I think it's mostly the bright colors not meshing. White + primary/sec/ter color is a cool aesthetic but having lime green and neon purple and orange on screen at the same time is an absolute eyesore and it looks even worse in motion. This game won't be a resounding flop, but it won't be nearly enough to pull bungie out of their death spiral.Destiny is in its worst state in a decade, worse than after curse of osiris launched and bungie was weeks from closing down completely. The server slam did pretty well, but also showed how many people bounced off of this type of game.Sony needs marathon to be the next big thing, and it won't be.
