I think it looks nice and I enjoyed playing it after the initial learning curve. But it's not worth 40 bucks + subscription if you're on console. I'd happily play more rounds if it was free, but as is, I'll wait to see what happens. And Yotei Legends + Saros are coming out soon so I've got enough Sony produced stuff that this isn't that enticing on its own.

i thought i played it for a few hours but according to steam i only managed about 110 minutes before getting sick of iti started tarkov recently and it's so much better it's insane, marathon feels like a phone game that got ported to pc by comparison

I really don't think visuals matter when Marathon main competitor literally looks like Concord. One thing I've noticed is that the more a game is advertised these days the more it is disliked. All of the most popular multiplayer games of recent times have been essentially shadow dropped
