I kinda like Geoff. I think he's genuinely passionate about games, and is trying to contribute to gaming culture. But the last several Game Awards shows have just been a mess to watch. 3 hours of trailers that mostly look the same, so many live service multiplayer type games that have the same art style and blend together. The only games that stand out at all are from Oldguard Japanese devs, and even those are interesting about half the time. And then you have this weird blend of the family friendly muppets skits, "Fuck the Oscars" energy, and gory weird bullshit like the Divinity trailer last year. I don't believe for a second this is actually Geoff's discord btw.
