The overflow of flea spawns persists until the cat's next turn too, it refilled the map with friendly fleas when I had control of it again which cleaned up all the hostile fleas. Got pretty lucky all things considered, butcher only fucked up my tank a bit and then got stuck in a loop killing the fleas it spawned every turn. Most of the hostile fleas killed each other instead of targeting my other cats.

An ungrateful brat that thinks he deserves everything and needs to be punished. Him running away in the 2nd phase is supposed to make you pissed off just like mom was when she was abusing him>The Tormentor looking like the Beast (mom's demon form) implies mom realizing what she's done and being afraid of going to hell. She's still likely trying to convince herself she dindu nuffin which is why she fights it. It's a positive delusion, just like Isaac fighting his angel self was a negative delusion (he thought he's evil so he fights a good version of himself)>The Mother boss uses cancer analogy to portray depression and anxiety slowly overtaking one's mind. Definitely go for stimulation though, the small percentage difference it adds speeds things up a lot in practice.It also actually gets easier and easier as you go along as well, while you're heading towards your all 7s cat you should just completely ignore inbreeding penalties. If two cats have a 7 in the same stat then their child will also have a 7 100% of the time, so you only need to use strays to add in 1 more 7 to your inbred royal line each time. Once you have your perfect all 7s cat you can then pretty easily work on getting the defects out at the end, my early all-7s had no mouths and most were blind and permanently confused too, but that minor issue only took 1 or two further generations to iron out.

You are not likely to have finished any good breeding by this point and it gets out of hand quickly if the head gets off the scream attack. The body and Mama can just decide to keep spitting out / leveling up maggots constantly, too. The head will also resist melee with getting knocked away and spawning spike cages. Wanted to try out a solo run and see how the mark looks like if you clear the solo on an easier difficulty after you have cleared a harder difficulty with a group. And it looks the same really, you can't tell what difficulty you cleared the solo run at.
