I'm not paying more than 25€ for a videogame. One exception will be made per year, at the maximum price of 50€.I think this is quite reasonable in these uncertain times of economic and geopolitical turmoil. What are your thoughts ? Do you think I'm being a cheapskate ?
We boughted McDonalds for 2 persons and it costed 50€...
That's not really an especially spicy take but I'd avoid hard caps because sometimes certain games just evoke this sense of "I won't play it for more than x dollars"I won't play Borderlands 4 until I can get it for under 30.I won't play Rhythm Heaven Fever until I can get it for under 40.But I intend to buy Pragmata and Saros at full price in April. Some games I won't pay money for at all. I played Diablo 4 through game pass but no way in hell am I spending 70 dollars or whatever to get in on their endgame loop. But I haven't purchased ANY games in 2026 as of yet just backlog and piracy so I don't feel like I'm wasting money either.Priorities, I guess. I wouldn't skip a game you know is going to be spoiled on 4chan, for example.
>>734341702I don't buy McDicks or really any other fast food burger chain nowadays, it's become too expensive. I just go to the nearest food truck or local pizzeria and get a medium size 'za for 13€ or just one of those new fast food places with cheap menus. I don't know why I still see students or young people at McD or BK, it's not cheap anymore.

>>734341336Nah, I set a monthly limit of 50 on games. I make an exception once or twice a year for a full price release I waa hyped for but that's about it. Most months I don't even hit the limit often spending maybe 10 on a cheap coop game or roguelike to kill time with.
