Leon is a prodigy, and he barely survived RE2. Ethan could survive that from Mold Powers, sure. But without Special Agent Training and Leon's abilities to learn fast, there's no way he would have survived RE4. I doubt he would have even survived RE3, since Nemesis is about as tanky as Jack, give or take, but 10x the danger. Mother Miranda killed Ethan, she would not have killed Leon or Chris. Death Island being gay and lame aside, they need to make everyone come back for RE10 to just basically be the original protagonists and Ethan suplexing their way through the bad guys while the weaker secondory new protagonists run around being scared of zombies, for 120 hours of total game time.

It's actually a weaker threat than most and both games go out of their way of showing this. Eveline is dying and she doesn't understand her powers fully. Sure, she can crash a tanker and take over some people with enough time around them, but her infection process is supier sloppy compared to other viruses. She simply covers people in mold and they come out barely formed. Besides the molded, there's only 3 threats and they're not nemesis level. Jack is powerful, but he's an idiot and still got beat by an old man in boxing match.

3 of the 4 lords are fucking retards. And 2 of them are weak as hell. The only benefit they have was being remote and not attempting world domination - they had consolidated a lot of infected, but they had wasted a lot more with experiments. Mother Miranda looks threatening, but she gets beaten by regular weaponry. She's gotten so old and not nearly at her peak. She can only transform into a monster that's tyrant size.

As cinematic as the Winters saga was, this franchise is ready for another RE6-tier Deus Ex type cinematic epic.
