Whether because the game is bad or if players have just moved on. If a title is mp only then playerbase is important. Marathon always should have at least had a robust single player mode and if it did then steamdb numbers wouldn't matter nearly as much.
So for the next 3 months this is what the game is + Cryo Archive, then the following 3 months adds a "new" zone being Marsh at Night + 1 new shell. So for 6 months Marathon has 4.5 Maps, and 8 shells, and that's it. Man give it a few more weeks as the questlines finish and their own playerbase is going to be upset.

I only care about steam charts for games I don't want to play. Most of these are live service games. I like to see games I dislike crash and burn. The more of those games that are money pits, the less likely they are to be made in the future. Or so common sense would dictate, but haven't seen that yet.
