I gave up on Runescape after a few years of changes I didn't like. Explored other games similar to it like Brighter Shores, High Spell, and Mabinogi.Landed on pic rel, Bitcraft. It's got the RS grind, it's got a lot of player freedom, it's not super active to grind it for most skills, and combat is simple and okay.The real lacking part is quests. It really needs quests similar to RS.

Alts harm both the in-game economy and the social dynamics of MMOs. If they could realistically enforce it they would implement a strict rule allowing only one character per player that is played solely for its own progression and benefit.

That's around 200 mil made from the daily "quick" grind that would cover the bond and even save some for an upgrade. That + common drops + auto alchers + farm rounds can give you some relatively easy 30-40m runeshekels per day. Some sweaty bossing or brainrotting runecrafting can definitely pay for an entire year worth of membership. And I mean a shard of genesis is a 1-1.5b drop and they drop around 1/80 bosses in the sanctum. That's a 15min non optimal run, 4 runs per hour or 20 hours per drop. In theory you can buy a year worth of membership in 40 hours
