The problem with Regent is 3 energy feels awful on him. He needs a turn to prep to get going with Void Form or generate stars for his big combo turn. This makes it so if you don’t have the pieces your run kinda falls apart from chip damage or you break the game. If you can’t generate 6 stars you can’t use Decisions Decisions to triple cast Forge to one shot someone or Royal Gamble for Radiate. He has no middle ground you end up being overpowered or dead. It’s not like other classes where you can squeak by with a subpar deck at a20.

I have the best win rate with the regent by far. Why are people talking about him as if he is all luck? He has got good defensive cards too. And if you don't commit 100% to one endgame plan, your deck will be a lot more versatile through act1 and act2.

Don't be afraid to upgrade Zap of you get some draw or making it zero gives additional benefit
Sometimes I like to go back to StS I after grinding on the second one and just now got this particular achievementI wasn't even planning on trying it the game literally gave me feed 2 floors before reaching Donu and Deca as a card reward so thank you RNG for that one.
I only played Necro a few times, souls seem super busted. With the "+2 summon when you play soul" you can get away with barely having any offense. I picked soul stuff, friendship and a bunch of incidental Osty cards (with no big damage payoffs) and it kinda roflstomped. Granted I'm only ascension 3 right now on Necro.
