VRchat gets very boring very fast. It's nice to get some conversation since i'm disabled at home but nobody actually wants to have a fun conversation unless they are also disabled. If you go to bs popular worlds, expect bs. Half the fun of the game is using your social skills to find cool worlds by simply asking "hey bro, know any cool worlds?" Also, don't go in with any expectations of having an insanely good time, just jump on and see where the night takes you. It's a social experience that can range from getting bored and logging off to the absolute craziest shit. I used it as a virtual bar hopping experience, and things usually got wild at the most unexpected times and lead to me playing a lot more due to how insane the party vibe is. If you know the right places it's a 24/7 party. Stay away from quest worlds and stay away from the furry worlds and if you end up drinking in vr(possibly the best drinking experience of all time) try not to let it consume you and limit it to the weekends or some shit. Being in VR makes it easy for you to drink way more than you should without realizing it. Play standing always, and don't forget to laugh at the blacked out randos you find crumpled on the floor snoring in your adventures. Remember to be nice to people too, vr is so much more personable

I can't stand up very long so i play VR seated and Alyx introduced those gravity gloves so you just aimed your hand/palm at something and flicked your wrist and you could catch it in the air with ease. They put that same mechanic into Skyrim VR through modding which made the game feel like i was truly a telekinetic mage at times. Skyrim VR is truly just Skyrim and i would never defend Skyrim cause it truly isn't a good game but after modding it over the years you can turn it into something actually fun with much better mechanics modded in and lots more things to do unlike regular Skyrim where they took out an entire school of magic and magic doesn't even scale properly into late game.

Problem is my reflexes aren't as good anymore cause i'm not a teenager anymore on top of being disabled. I tried the multiplayer and i did get a few kills but yeah those younger guys in their 20s really couldn't be stopped easily when they got going. Visually Valheim in VR sounds awesome but for survival crafting stuff all i really played in VR a lot was Minecraft using the Vivecraft mod which was fun but too many mods gives too many buttons and then trying to deal with finding hotkeys on vr controllers is a nightmare at times so i stuck to smaller things like Pixelmon in VR which was pretty fun back then since all you had to do was map a few buttons that were actually important.

For VR: Standing in the forest when the wind is blowing and looking around is like an overwhelming ASMR experience. Even though the game is pixel style textures and low poly, a lot of the stuff almost feels real just due to the attention to detail. The controls are kinda shit though since it's a modded experience. The bosses/trolls/sea serpents are something else with the IRL scale perspective. I almost exclusively use bow in VR because it feels that much better being able to really aim it.

The 3rd party company that was doing ID verification for discord said they weren't retaining data (just like VRC's verification 3rd party), but then they got hacked and, sure enough they retained the data. Given how fuckin witch hunty social media is, and how there are literal psychos keeping 5-year long tabs on vrg, this shit would probably be a civilization collapse tier event if it all went live for everything on the internet.
