Haven't started 4th but hit 75 so just need to upgrade fire sunder charm. Nightmare act 4 and throne room were the worst parts with freezing and slow curses.Warlock kills uber ancients with no difficulty.Never seen a stone of jordan, ethereal phase blade or ethereal vortex in thousands of hours.

The Paladins and Amazons are out there trying to stop this great evil, but on the other end there's this old guy who is slowly building a snowballing undead army that just steamrolls (Assuming you have the best gear possible) through most content. What did you guys think about Diablo 3 outside of the horribly botched online-only, real money auction house?I only played the console version (because it was advertised to be playable offline and with offline multiplayer) and while it was a fun "gauntlet" style arcade game, it didnt feel very much like a diablo especially with the jarring ability for every character to be able to use any weapon and seemingly use their skills just fine.

Summons can get bigboi damage on their own against bosses and telestomping in the middle of mobs but you'll need a full inventory of skillers minimum plus Infinity on a Might merc (skeletons guaranteed to hit, plus makes maxed mages somewhat viable), self-wield Beast or Faith, and if you really wanna get spicy, a Pride Iron Golem kept alive with max mastery and Battle Orders. This is against a players 8 Terrorized Death Lord which as you can see can get pretty rough for corpse explosion even if you have the corpses. The pure physical damage getting boosted by Amplify Damage and all those auras gets to be really nice.

Items with legendary powers on the other hand might be one of the worst things that happened to ARPG. You get effectively locked to using only one specific item in almost every inventory slot, because you need their "main skill damage +500%" effect, which is obviously so strong it can't be overlooked. When you change items in D2, it's maybe like 10% increase in power between what would be considered your BiS and 2nd/3rd best, or you trade some side stuff, like for example HotO is stronger than Spirit sword, but in terms of side stats you get all resist but give up life, mana and a big chunk of FHR. In D3 you would aim for 4 the same random stats on both of them, and the only difference would be their potential effects boosting different skills by 500%, so you HAVE to get a specific one for your build, all the other weapons are trash for you. Legendary powers feel cool at first, but long term it's a poison for ARPG genre, we saw that with Mosaic in D2.I got sidetracked but overall - D3 7/10 it's ok
