The elemental interactions and DoT effects in this game are wonderful. Despite having a lot of overlap, each dot is good in different situations and provides different utility. I'm still bumping into occasional elemental tricks, eg using wind on lava will cause it to spill fire onto adjacent tiles, or brambles are considered "grass" for the purposes of some druid effects (and creep and ooze is considered water)
