For some reason people think this game is ultra optimized or some shit but I did a basic comparison and it looks like Crimsom Desert on all max settings is as heavy as Doom TDA with optional PATH TRACING active.Exact same performances, maybe even a little bit worse. Doom TDA with PT 4K DLSS P (1080p internally) runs at about 60 FPS (not sure if it's worse with Ray Reconstruction, it might be, but unlike Crimsom Desert PT in Doom doesn't really require RR, but Crimsom does and it's expensive.And I don't think you need a reminder about how buttmad the poorfags at /v/ were over Doom TDA.>just turn ray tracing offI highly doubt that's gonna be possible.

>>735008693Basically, my picrel was deceptive marketing. The "cinematic" settings are the actual "ultra", while "ultra" are actually "high". Or more like, "medium", if you take into account the fact that game will look like shit without ray reconstruction (which is the real maxed out ultra) in comparison to with. RE9 had the same kind of issue where you either play without raytracing or play with path tracing, while normal raytracing mode was the shitty middle ground that was not worth going for. So here we have the situation where you either play on "ultra" as advertised, or on cinematic+RR at around ~1/4 of the advertised framerate. So much for all the "optimized" bs, and they slap a denuvo on top of it...The performance is going to be an issue and ppl are gonna bitch and moan about it.
