Absolutely disgusting. If your character is supposed to know something then they don't need to be told. Just use environmental storytelling or optional documents laying around, what the fuck. Even worse if the AS YOU KNOW information is stacked on top of a mandatory tutorial for reminding your character what they already know how to do.
