Spirit Hunter: Death Mark 1. A visual novel with some point n' click mechanics, it has your home as a base where you go back to after investigations, and I find the music and setting there to be comfy.

Silent Hill 4 had the same thing going on, with the 'safe' area of your apartment that you have to leave to go get stuff done
