I think I figured out what this game is gonna be. It is starfield without space and procgen. You will spend most of the game walking through a huge pretty world looking for a crumb of gameplay. You will find some great set pieces but there will be nothing to do here since they developed the graphical assets but didn't make any gameplay tied to it.

Its one of the games where turning down the graphics gets you very little performance so you may as well suffer on medium settings with DLSS off because its gonna run like shit anyways so it may as well look decent.I hated all story shit in black desert online. You skip through all of it to get to some future content or for quest rewards. The redeeming part was learning your combos as your class, and having to execute your moves through inputs rather than hotkeys as hotkeys did less damage and couldnt flow from one to another. There was an endless vertical progression and even if you tried hard to catch up, the lead players never stopped grinding since launch, where massive whales p2w for every convienence, all were in the same massive pvp alliance, and the pvp took 0 skill if your gear score wasnt basically the same level. During the rare occasions you fought someone your gearscore, some classes had no iframes or superarmor and got raped.Going in the direction of a pve game might be good but I doubt it will perform well especially with denuvo. Maybe once I can rent a 5080 for 1 cent an hour in 10 years in AI datacenter hell because prices never went down, maybe then I can play it.
