Games made by fetish artists to fulfill their ultimate furry/AGP fantasy, low-poly for the sake of being low-poly, strange for the sake of being strange and tapping into the obscure gamer market? Each one pretending to be unique but in reality copying Lorn’s Lure, King’s Field, and Cruelty Squad. Each one recycling the same few mechanics like parrying, “advanced” movement, stamina meter, inventory paperdoll, character’s face constantly on the screen, all the bullshit “immersive sim” elements, which now are so prevalent that it’s hard to find a game that isn’t an immersive sim.
