Why isn't Aerith more popular despite being the main character of FF7?

American slanted polls surely.It was like that before and after remake.Tifa looked great before and after the remake.Maybe a slight nerf to boobs, but everything else about her looked way more polished, like her waist, legs, face.While Aerith became flat chested and lost her phat ass.They also kind of flanderized the personality, but that's too much to get into.
