Neither Mewgenics nor STS2 are decent , they are autistic timewasters doing the same thing over and over again.full roguelite/roguelike death can´t come soon enough.that being said i enjoyed both but they are not nearly fleshed out nor do i want to bother with breeding and re-equipping , releveling , rnjewing my runs where it´s either completely busted or completely out of my hands.if it wasn´t related to isaac the game would be at mostly negative reviews.as for STS2 , its STS1 with somewhat improved graphics and somehow the same , am waiting for mods and / full release played to a5 with ironclad and just makeing it harder is not keeping me interested , needs way more bosses , acts , items , cards , the whole shebang.basically videogames are dead right now and all you can do is replay older titles you adore.that also gets OLD fast though , and playing mostly against AI is depressing.if you are a shutin with no job , autism , no irl friends , no family to speak of full on otaku / neet, then i can see why you would claim either of these titles to be GOTY.sadly regular people respect their own time because they don´t have it in overabundance like (you)
