They won't do 250k damage burst, but then, that's basically just overkill. A pretty high quality-of-life way to kill everything compared to e.g. Kibellah (or similarly built rogue trader) jumping between enemies and resetting her jump ability with kill, which can also just kill everything, but there you have to be mindful with routing, etc. Ditto for Argenta killing everything with burst, which kinda requires you to line up enemies into a killing field.

I like running Jae but pistols are ass for action economy on an Officer unless you use the pistol synergy items which take up a bunch of the same slots as the officer synergy items and more importantly the fighting Officer talents she gets aren't very strong compared to the other ones available (Leader's Assault giving +5 Fel every time she attacks and Heroism giving her a free attack on her turn if someone uses a heroic act).Endgame she's amazing once you can grab the ability that triggers a free attack of opportunity on any ally and better talents but she should have that instead of the Move command already. Other factor being that her unique passive scales off merchant shop ranks so when you recruit her she plays like a poorly constructed mercenary and isn't properly strong until late act 2.

Yes, you do pay the cost for that in the lives of your crew, but I guess it's worth it kinda?The Elf is...I mean it's a novelty, right? But I can't imagine many people successfully finishing that romance plot without a guide since you almost always have to essentially do the opposite of what you think you should do (which means any time you're given the option to do something that would normally be a "get closer and progress romance" choice, you have to pick the option that involves literally no physical or emotional engagement, because that's what Elves are about). And then at the end of the day you don't get much out of her anyway.
