How does RDR2 compare? Does it have better missions in your opinion? My two main issues with RDR were the stupid herding cattle sections or wasting 10 minutes before every missions accompanying an NPC to the destination

>>735017650>Herding cattle sectionsThere's only one section>Accompanying NPCYou don't need to accompany them or wait for them
>>735017650>wasting 10 minutes before every missions accompanying an NPC to the destinationThe “missions” in red dead 2 are just that, and that’s it
I played RDR and its DLC to completion shortly before RDR2 released and found it to be an absolute chore the characters are the most grating pricks I've ever seen in any game ever and the missions and gameplay is repetitive as all hell, just non-stop shootouts with no variety. I can't remember a single mission from the game RDR2 on the other hand has characters I actually cared about and can remember, plus a ton of setpieces and missions I can remember quite vividly, not to mention its world detail and interactivity is lightyears ahead it feels like one of those old sequels you'd get back in the 6th gen era where it's just an upgrade on every single level, to the point it makes the original feel like it's not worth playing, like TimeSplitters 2 or something >wasting 10 minutes before every missions accompanying an NPC to the destinationRDR2 still does this, but the characters won't drive you nuts and the end will be a lot more interesting. that whole thing is sort of a Rockstar staple
