What is the best Bionicle game? The flash one's pretty good but that's about it IMO.

The free browser games.It’s fucking crazy how good they were. We’ve fallen so far, advertising used to make a full free game of bafflingly high quality that never explicitly advertised to you, now actual paid games are filled to brim with attempts to get you to pay for stuff and crossover advertising with other things.Some of the browser games could’ve legitimately been sold as a full price game. The 2006 one (Voya Nui Online Game) was my introduction to turn based RPG’s, and it easily could’ve been sold as a full priced DS game or something. It had a huge map, tons of enemy variety and even boss fights, a ton of different weapons and armour. It was a proper game, and it was just free on the website.

The kids who grew up with OG bionicle had aged out of it by that point, and younger kids couldn't get into it because there was a mountain of material from a decade prior they'd need to go through and understand in order to become a fan. That and lego started going full-jew in the 2010s. Bionicle relied a lot on new molds and specialized pieces, rather than standard lego, or even normal technic stuff, where you have a handful of unspecialized generic parts. Lego really started cutting down on all the different molds in the name of efficiency. Nowadays they rarely ever introduce new molds. And any sort of bionicle rerelease is pretty much never ever going to happen, because the molds they used for them have all been destroyed.
