do you have the middle of your keyboard at the center point of the monitor or the G and H keys, so that your hands are at the center point while typing?

>>735019520What's the benefit of having numpad
>>735019520No because that would be bad ergonomics
>>735019520Neither. It's placed so that combined with the mouse it's centered
>>735019939typing numbers fast
>>735019520>gay keyboardsFullsized or bust.
>>735019520keyboard to the left side and angled like im playing CS

>>735019939I bind nvidia stuff to the outside buttons and another button to help me find porn. The others are for typing numbers and controlling MPC.I also have a macropad for when my keyboard breaks and I have to get some piece of shit with no numpad. I haven't bound much to it since the UI sucks ass. Kinda regret getting that thing.
>>735020154The only reason I can think of anyone couldn't have a fullsized keyboard is if they need more room for their gay RGB PC case to sit on top of their desk so they can ogle it 24/7.
>>735020313I regularly use page up/down/home/end/printscrn and the numpad. Gayfaggot keyboards that give you less but cost the same or more are just dumb. Why would you EVER accept getting less for your dollar?
i don't sit at a desk, i bought premium wireless shit with top tier latency and i sit on my bednever been comfier
>>735020453I sit at my desk, by my desk chair is a recliner.
>>735020391I will want to kms when this thing dies since I use most of the buttons. I was browsing for keyboards a while ago and almost all of them are absolute buttonlets
>>735019520it's like this
>>735021181Where's the PC tower taking up 30% of the desk space?
>>735023570>"1440p isn't good enough, I need 4k"
>>735025189i got 4k recently and can't tell the difference
>>735019520If I'm going to be typing I'll move it forward, but for games I have it off to the left.
>>735021275nta my tower is on an old sewing machine table behind my regular deskbut my mousepad is tiny
Actually the alphanumeric section of the keyboard should be fairly centered. There's a reason why split keyboards don't split that section so that the right side is 25% of that section plus a fucking numeric pad. For that reason, the numpad should be on the left side, not the right one. Unfortunately, supermarket cashiers won, and now we're all used to using our right hands with the fucking numpad. That means that the mouse is further to the left, requiring more space. Or that people who value mouse movement enough actually go and ditch the numpad.
>>735019520Why would someone use two keyboards?
I'm more like this. And yes I have neck pains.
>>735019520I have gotten used to having it to the left a bit. I suppose it because my desk is so small and I try to fit too much on it.https://i.4cdn.org/g/1773590737073238.jpg>>735026991lol, come to /g/, there are people with 4-5 keyboards and running about 5-10 different systems.https://desu-usergeneratedcontent.xyz/g/image/1497/20/1497204956960.webmhttps://desuarchive.org/g/thread/71239243/#71263828
>>735026289It's more subtleI wasn't blown away like the jump to 1440p, but I tried switching back and immediately noticed the aliasing was much worse on the 1440p monitor
>>735019939It makes typing in numbers a lot easier and faster with one hand. Takes a little getting used to but once you do you won't use the ones across the top anymore.
