People will look at this otaku loser and go "fuck yeah"
>>735020439No, they'll go "fuck head"
MOE
Moe…
Is NMH3 and TSA any good?
>>735020439He's the world's greatest assassin and he chops people's heads off with a lightsaber. That's cool. Digging through dumpsters for a t-shirt and picking up odd jobs moving coconuts is not the part they want to emulate.
>>735021989If someone paid me to pick up coconuts on a modest and quiet beach front I’d do it.
Over the course of the series he did transform from a loser trying to be a badass into an actual badass. Give the guy some credit.
>>735021947I love them, I think TSA is the best entry
>>735020439Should I play the Wii (emulated) or PC version? I can't play switch version unfortunately even though that's what's recommended.
>Going to the gym after his master dies in the story>He shows up as a ghost now
>>735021947TSA is good writing wise (especially if you love Suda's other series) and ok gameplaywise. NMH 3 is ok but feels lacking.
>>735022296Pc works perfectly fine with a controller. If it's your first time, DO NOT play on Bitter. You're gonna wanna swallow lead very early in your playthrough
>>735021947TSA is the best game in the series, provided you're familiar with Suda's work beyond NMH.NMH3 is... it's complicated. It was made during Covid, on underpowered hardware with a limited budget and development time and you can feel Suda's frustration. It's an entire game dedicated to saying "Fuck this series, fuck everyone who takes it seriously and fuck John Riccitiello, firmer CEO of EA, in particular."
>>735020439>game calls him a idiot loser>competent enough to earn millions of dollars just to satisfy his fight boner>endearing enough to get at least half of his opponents to like/respect him (Death Metal, Dr Peace, Shinobu, Holly Summers, Speed Buster and Jeanne).
>>735020439For me its Shinobu though
>>735024085She's a minor
>>735022465Really? I heard it isn't as good without motion controls
Another franchises dies by the low power of the basedtendo shitch. This and bayonetta, victims of the fisher price tablet
>>735024230>18 in NMH 1 Not this time puritanfag
>>735024285Honestly you're not missing out too much on the motion controls. The only thing that I miss is the phone calls you'd get on the Wiimote's speaker while walking up to the bossfight, so you'd have to hold it up to your head like a real phone. Shit was tight.
>>735020439People will look at this generic weeb character and go literally who from literally what
>refuses to fucking dieWhat a chore of a boss. I'm honestly dreading starting my NMH2 bitter run considering everyone says Jasper is a fucking nightmare
>>735021947TSA is good
>huh huh huh huh huh>duh duh duh duh
>>735025068Jasper suck as a reflection on how fucking stupid is going to a revenge story when nobody win anything, even lesz the one doing the revenge.Still, NMH2 has the greatest ost in an action game and is worth playing just for that.
>>735021947NMH3 is pure garbage.TSA?Pure unadulterated Kino.
>>735029130One of the best songs in the game:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mTyp4uzzkE
A loser who knows how to dress. You guys have no idea how much that helps.
>>735020439Any more "cool otaku loser" characters archetypes?I only know Travis Touchdown.
>>735020439I like how is arc is about becoming capable of killing women
Why did Suda drop the 2nd best vidya composer to eventually use japrapshit in his games? Is he fucking retarded?
>>735020439Played all of his games, I hated 3 and thought 1 was the best but really liked TSA. How did this based series peak at 1?
>>735029915because 2 wasn't directed by Suda, TSA was a weird spinoff, and 3's development was a train wreck
>>735021947Yes they’re both goodSafely ignore literal retards that say 3 is bad If you liked 1 and 2, you’ll love 3If you’ve liked (and played) all/the majority of Suda’s games, you’ll absolutely adore TSA for all the references and general level of writing Please also play Romeo is a Dead Man
>>735029915NMH 2 was made by people who thought Travis was cool and forgot his appeal was that he was a loser. It is basically the same plot as one except more blunt/blatant.3 was Suda trying to be wacky to the point of flanderisation. TSA was him self-reflecting (kinda like how one was).
>>735020439>Mecha Otaku>Lightsaber OtakuGaming need more otaku protagonists
>>735020439I wanted to replay it a while ago but couldn't get ultrawide working. Feels bad.
>>735025068?? he is easy as fuck, just charge attack
>>735024085i fucking love choco girls and white/blonde hair combo but for some reason i never found her appealing
>>735033395>get locked into long animation>he does the instakill attack>oh n-
>>735025068his bossfight is kinda boring but easy if you get the jist, just keep dodging during his combo, get a dark step and beat his ass until you can make a wrestling move. he does have a lot of health so beware, but on the other hand he's still easily readablethis obviously applies to bitter, lesser difficulties lower his health bar
>>735033523Heavily telegraphed, If it catches you then it’s on you. Only unfair instant death is from the Batt man
this game was pure unadulterated urban kinowhere have these games gone? suda can't be the only director left in gaming with a small modicum of actually original art direction
>>735034402suda himself lost it
>>735034785Nah, he's still got it.
>>735034785no?
>>735034950Directed by Ren yamazakiStory by Ren yamazaki
>>735020439The game that mindbroke Suda and forced him to make 3 more games because secondaries couldnt handle other games from him
>>735037309It was the failling of Killer 7 that did it not NMH, i'v seen a lot of people calling NMH3 a ''fuck you to the fans'' when in reality it's NMH1 the real fuck you, it uses all the cliches in JRPGs and wipes it's ass with it
>>735021947TSA is the best game of the series but it doesn’t play like the othersI liked NMH3 combat but it lacks content and levels overall
Finally got that fucker Henry and it only took about 20 something minutes. On a side note, I had forgotten how great Quinton Flynn was in the role. The guy they got in 3 didn't even try to sound like him.
>>735021947Romeo is better
>>735029395Genuinely can't think of anyone else, it's a very hard balance to mantain, they generally give that role for a side character comic relief type
>>7350204391 > 3 > TSA > 2
Say what you want about NMH3, but I really love how it pushed the meta elements of the series to its limits in this game. My only major gripes is the repetitive combat and the lack of extra beam katanas contributing to it, but I love the Death Glove moves.I’m gonna miss Travis and the gang, but it sure was a wild ride while it lasted.
>>735040762i wonder if the grandpa jacket can see him jack off?
>>735043610for me its the beginner missions and his moveset not being agile enough to not use the deathglove stuff. it got repetitive and i wanted to shadow doge past attacks to be chunni
>>735024085So you're not racist when you're horny?
Did bad girl has any gimmick or something like that? her fight was the hardest for me and lasted like 2 hours of her summoning mininos
>>735047175She spits alcohol into her bat and lights it on fire. She does some fire shockwave attack that consumes over half of your health.
>>735047175>>735047436Oh that and her fake crying that can instakill you
>>735047175>>735047508The trick is to pay attention to whether she has a hand on her bat or not when she cries
>>735020439I'm playing the PS3 version and I actually like some of the changesWii version is still the best though
>>735024230In SEX(majoring in ASS ASS ination)
>>735047175You can hit her minions back at her like a baseball if you attack right before they hit you.
>>735029395The postal dude, he's not an otaku but has the same vibe
>>735025068Phase 2 Jasper is genuinely just fucking bullshit. You have to abuse weapon-swap I-frames and Peony charge attacks to not get raped by his teleport punches, and even then you can get unlucky and punched out the window if you're in a bad spot after dodging something else.
>>735029237The "not muh Suda" faggots can eat a dick. The OST alone makes NMH2 a gem.https://youtu.be/3BklbpFJlbY?si=JdoAC6yE0tmrmPa9
>>735050445Apparently Akira Yamaoka composed only one track for this game and it was this one.
>>735050758He did both Subuta tracks.https://youtu.be/X78YlQ4Ewgc?si=Rara-fvlNwyyQ5J2
