Replaying the game, I'm bummed the Grace section didn't incorporate some harder puzzles, it all felt too simple. Meanwhile, Leon is far too simple and needed some variety, like a good chunk of the Racoon City section just blurs together. Cutting some of the city sections and replacing that with a sewer section with those plant monsters from 2 and maybe some weird Hunter variant would spice things up a bit.
