It's getting there.
Original EA release was shit but slowly got better.
Then they disappeared for 18 months.
When they finally came back, the only thing they added was a pointless walkable/upgradable hub area and massive performance loss.
Thankfully the hub got thrown into the trash (converted to menus) and the performance was unfucked.
Overall game is finally starting to feel like a successor to the original.
