Everything from the Racoon City part on is a slog full of weak nostalgia-bait. Once the honeymoon phase passes more people will realize just how mediocre the game is.

I also like the references to Miranda you dont realize at first until you played 8. The dead crows, etc. She already had her influence with the mold, but didnt know what was really going on until 8. I loved the sound design too, it made you really feel like you were in a hot, humid, dank, rotting house in the deep south. The flies, the cicadas, the "smokey" atmosphere from the humidity. It made you feel like you were actually there.

It didn't have as much enemy variety as Requiem. I also prefer bosses that aren't just people. It was very good, but I prefer 9.
