The floor turns to the color of the pillar you just destroyed the first time, and then switches off when a pillar of the oposite color is destroyed. Technically, you could just hit one and it would be enough to block the hand, but the 5-segment bar at the bottom of the screen gives you insane buffs to offset his stupid dmg resistance, so you need to shoot 5 pillars starting with the one on the side of the hand he's raising so that after alternating between them you end up with the same color, while receiving all the buffs. When he does the SUCC, you need the floor to be neutral, so you do all the same stuff, but just finish off the last pillar instead of leaving it.
