After respeccing, maxing out the radiant charm, focal point and damage upgrades I've still got a bunch of points left and do crazy damage. Even with the enrage damage reduction I take chunks out of ghosts now and them doing that just gives me even more points because of the health regeneration.

The remake is great but it got modernized or casualized like other classic AAA horror games with more obvious linear path at least there's no stupid Yellow paint in the remake
"Censorship" would be removing the brutality and horror from the game's story by changing the crimson sacrifice ritual, aging up the characters, and other things like making the girls ugly. Instead they look nicer than ever. If you care about sexualization then go play FF4 and especially 5, the female characters in FF1-2 were never attractive or much to look at. Ironically they are at their cutest in this remake, but degenerates only care about sexualizing them and so get mad when they can't look up their skirt.

Eh the new super happy lovey dovey endings don't really fit a horror game IMO. Original "Happy ending" where village gets saved, both girls survive but Mio goes blind from accidentally seeing what hell looks like fits a horror theme way better.

Censorship is censorship. Them giving some other character slightly more cleavage doesn't undo the censoring.
slightly off-topic, does FF1 still crash during the final boss when you stop using the camera or was it fixed by now? I remember having to stay in camera mode and manipulating (if that was doable) kirie to appear behind me everytime until I beat her
