>>735029473Sadly all the popular minecraft servers are p2w shit now. You can grind 50 hours and some kid with mommy's credit card paid $300 for a rank with equivalent gear. They also have a tendency to reset every couple of months.THAT SAID, it's still a GUILTY PLEASURE for me to occasionally go on prison servers just to no-life them for a week when I want to kill time. In prison servers you instamine a shitton of blocks, sell them, repeat a gorillion times. Oddly soothing if you have the autism for it. Most of them also give you a private plot of land to build on that nobody can grief, so that's neat if you want to build something like a shop.
>>735029473if you manage to build a time machine I strongly recommend any active server running the Factions or Dwarves vs Zombies plugin. Probably between 2012 and 2014. There's no point in even trying anything in 2026 though, besides playing with your friends.

On top of that everyone just uses cheat clients anyway so it becomes an arms race of who has the best cheats rather than who pays the most or who has the best items. I can't imagine how dark your skin tone has to be to enjoy such an experience, but I'd rather not find out.

Those are in prison servers too, but I basically treat it as giga autistic singleplayer unless I see an opportunity to do business with someone who's already rich (mainly selling tokens or some shit to their plot). Again, lots of autism, but it's soothing to me.
