It's sad because Reforged improved a bit with time, but the damage it caused means it will never be the same game it once was, and most of the improvements are either them adding stuff they added in or fixing stuff they broke. It replaced the IRC chat with some modern slop that requires consent to send DMs to other players so after you've lost a 1v1 match you must first "friend" your opponent in order to call them a faggot. And I think there was even a limit how many friends you can have. It's just so sad an alienating.
