What did "Stop Killing Games" actually accomplish other than slandering some people? Most of the initiatives are dead or only given lip service.

>Stop Killing Games
That didn't work, because a new Danganronpa is coming out soon
>>
>>735034991
>What did "Stop Killing Games" actually accomplish
keeps enraging muttgolems and their overlord companies that think they can do whatever the fuck they want
>>

Hey, Thor. Still mad that your furret rescue sanctuary is shutting down due to the "harassment" aka people finding out you jerk it to feral artwork of furrets?
>>
>>735035170
off topic
>>735035165
skg was going to hurt gamers if it was successful
>>
>>735035385
Stay mad ferret fucker.
>>
>>735034991
Ubi promised (lol) to implement offline mode for The Crew 2
Also it makes trannies (like yourself) seethe, which is always great.
>>
>>735034991
It raped (((Thor))) in his bussy
>>
>>735034991
Nothing.
The entire movement is literally started by some neet and jobless youtuber who want to achieve something in his entire life for once, but because he's a youtuber(human with limited thinking ability) then of course he cant do that and become the newest lolcow loser on the internet

Honestly the whole thing was a massive shitshow and waste of time and anyone with even a modicum of how laws work in the first world knew this wasn't going anywhere so I can happily and smugly say that I was right all along.
Then the stuff with Thor happened and then things got even funnier.

Why is everyone in this thread pretending that the EU is not currently in the process of hearing and implementing policy change as a result of this petition?

Things are still happening. You already know this and this thread is bait.
>>
Bunch of soijaks trying to be relevant, citing up french revolution to their 'cause', ended up with nothing at the end of the day lole
>>

>this thread is bait
Non-bait threads don't get nearly as many (You)s. It's like with youtube thumbnails with stupid faces, no matter how much you may hate it, it just works.
>>
>>735034991
Nothing. Everyone knows that if anything happens it won't be for a few years. Everyone but retards who think beuraucracy moves fast for some reason

At least 80% of it is OP samefagging because he's a socially stunted ritual posting autist, and trying to start flamewars is the closest he can get to human interaction.
It's not rocket surgery.

Imagine being some europe parliament member:
>on one hand, these 'gamer' crowds are demanding their goyproduct to stay afloat so that they can keep consoom product and consoom product
>on the other hand, there's a war out there that affect gas and oil prices and literally people livelihood
Kek
>>
the funniest thing out of all of this wasn't the obvious opposition drama between this and devs("devs"), but that people expected something to happen overnight. You do remember what the EU is, right? Everything that's happened so far is lightning speed compared to normal consumer bureaucracy legislation that can take 20 years to get started.
>>
>>735035070
Lmao
>>
>>735037271
Not everyone is a nigger brained faggot like you who can only think of one thing at a time.
>>
A reminder that the people who are against SKG are for some reason usually Israelis.
>>
>>735037429
Uh oh melty skgfags spotted
>>
>>735037271
They aren't discussing war 24/7, I assure you more stupid laws are being discussed and passed in the meantime.
>>
>>735037464
>the people who are against SKG are for some reason usually Israelis
they're not all israelis. some are americans, though they tend to all be from the new york/new jersey area
>>
>>735034991
i don't give a shit about this because i don't play live service slop, and anyone who does, deserves to get scammed and lose money like retards
>>
>>735034991
It ain't instant gratification, you Muppet.
Skg is gonna take years before you can see results. Think usb c and shit
>>
>>735037627
>not israelis
>americans
so literal golems
>>
>>735034991
it's trying to get legislation you absolute fucking retard
it'll take a minimum of a few years to actually get anything going
but it's very likely that companies will take it into account going forward to potentially save money in the future
>>
>>735034991
The worst worst case scenario is nothing happens happens, but worst case scenario is live service games switch to subscription models or on purchase tell you the game will only be supported for a year. In the latter case it's up to gamers not to eat the slop.
>>
>>735037875
that would be better than what we have now, which is they sell you a game and then it just shuts off at some unspecified time
>>
>>735037271
Oh yeah, because surely the fucking parliament didn't basically go 'No Russia, don't do that, that's bad!' and nothing else since the fucking Ukranian war started, kill yourself American. America and Europe is fucking shit. Asia too. The whole fucking world is nothing but trash. Posting from the Antartida
>>
>>735037875
They will keep eating the slop. All this will achieve is a mandatory label that "online service support is not indefinite". Same shit as the rating label for online play.
>>
>>735037271
what war? ukraine is old news
>>
>>735037271
Why do we pretend that video games don't share the same layer of retarded complex laws as any other industry? Valve is literally being sued by some retarded entity that goes after people that play the radio loudly. Law is retarded.
>>
>>735038410
This is interesting if you think about it. So many movie games get developed under the guise of elevating games and turning them into true "art". It's a multi-million dollar industry with the potential to eclipse every other medium. But when the consumer doesn't want their money stolen all of that goes out the window and their just toys no one cares about. This is in the midst of the retro game market being absolutely fucked by speculators inflating value into the hundreds of thousands range. But supposedly they're just toys no one cares about.
>>
>>735037271
Iran is America's problem
>>
nothing, really. it was a fotm thing. in reality nobody cares gaas shit like concord or highguard or hyenas or whatever gets shut down because they weren't ever good nor worth buying to begin with. the industry already wants to pull back from gaas shit now but too many billions went in already it's literally just sunk cost egging publishers on now.
>>
>>735034991
They made game EULAs and DLC practices more draconian.
>>
>>735038781
It's your gas prices my man, we're already discussing the next stage of our bring Jesus back to life cope and beginning to fixate on Turkey.
>>
gas prices don't matter as long as Greater Israel is combined so that Gog and Magog can appear, be defeated by Jesus, and usher in Paradise
>>
>>735034991
They completed the petition, and now it's on to the EU conference to have someone draft up a proposal that the countries will hear. Legal stuff takes time and so we generally only get updates when new things happen.

At the moment, the video games lobbyists are busy saying "Don't read the initiative," and "It will stop anybody from making video games," so basic lobbying bullshit.
>>
>>735039380
Europe is compact enough that electric cars aren't as impractical as they are to Americans. Not to mention the fact that you aren't allowed to drive in city centers anymore
>>
>more than a million peoples want something
>Need to wait the approovement of some (((elected officials)))
Democracy isn't real
>>
Was hilarious watching /v/'s contrarianism twist into a pretzel in order to actively defend owning nothing.
