I still see in the wild people NOT understanding the claim behind the Elden Ring lawsuit. Even now, if you google "elden ring lawsuit", many news reporters got it wrong and think it was about the game being too hard.

That's not true.

I will do my best to explain in terms of "common sense", which i am currently operating outside of right now in 2026.

You know how in Taoism, there's yin and yang, right? Yin and Yang make up all of reality. And switching from one to the other is very hard, you're caught in a spiral just like the gif of pic related.

Well, FROM SOFTWARE made a game that demonstrates this. It's called KUON. In KUON, there's a Yin mode, and a Yang mode. This is the blueprint for my common sense.

We've played the "yin mode" of Elden Ring, but the "yang mode" is still hiding. I argued finding that secret is too hard, even for the most dedicated Souls players, and they should just tell us how to reach that version of the game instead of hiding it from us like a carrot on a stick. It's inhumane this torture. We just want to play the game. They tell us how to access the DLC now, why not tell us how to fulfill their vision?

How about you learn to datamine the games you play (just extract the files) so you can see there's no "second game" in them?

i did this for Bloodborne and found 3,000 lines that belong to the second game, the problem is when you do the community clings to the word "cut content" to describe it, when it should be "undiscovered content"

see here: https://github.com/Openborne/data/blob/master/fmg/jp/menu/%E4%BC%9A%E8%A9%B1.txt

they call it cut content because nobody has reported finding the content legitimately ingame.
