What did you play this weekend?

I tried Slay the spire and it is pretty alright although I suck ass with the huntress. Also bought a few game cubes like eternal darkness and wave racer. Gonna test them out tomorrow after I do some cleaning and set up the ol reliable.

I downloaded a bunch of old sports games based purely on aesthetics and i have to say: it was worth it
Madden nfl 2002 is so fucking CLEAN
Beach spikers has such good animation
Nhl 2000 is a perfect iteration of classic nhl games
Virtua tennis 4 hasnt even aged and the animations are still so good

If you played sports games as a kid and then just stopped because you don't give a fuck about sports i highly recommend going back and finding some. They are just games. And emulated they hold up very well.

I'm replaying RE4 Remake but I'm constantly distracted by suicidal ideation and it's hard to get in the zone

I started Rabi-Ribi and it made me physically recoil. It got me by surprise, but I think that old age is making me tolerate unnecessary fanservice way less than before. Tell me old-bros, is this how it begins? I won't be able to enjoy my pseudo-pedophilic chinese cartoons no more? Is live action all that is left?

my mom started watching anime at 58 so i guess it depends.

I finished Pokemon Z-A a couple days ago. I'll finish Bananza this month, then probably start Star Ocean 1 or 5. I'm waiting for another Switch 2 game that I want to be announced so I can trade some stuff in.

Finally did my speed run of Killer Frequency so I could get the platinum. Been putting it off for over a year but decided to finally do it this past week. I'm halfway through Until Dawn, I think I'm at Chapter 6 now so I'll probably finish it by tonight. I'm not really sure what to play next, I think I might do Silent Hill Short Message and then go back to finishing Cyberpunk as I put it down back in January and haven't touched it since.

I felt this way when I turned on Sakura Wars 2019 the other day. I didn’t recoil though, just laughed at it and wondered why I’m playing.
>>
Satisfactory. I tried DRG but being around other people is simply too much.

Phoenix Point

I like it. I might give Xcom a chance after this.

A little more than half way through Code Veronica. Its a fun title, but it is starting to drag a bit and I like the OG RE games better. Great atmosphere though. Still need to beat RE0 and Revelations 2 at some point.
