Not even an indication that Corvo later found her and gave her a better job at the palace

Apparently she just escaped and never made contact

Pretty sure that’s just implied in the ending slides depending on chaos. In low chaos the Loyalists’ survivors basically scatter and try to live normal lives. There’s no follow‑up quest or anything, so people assume she dipped and kept her head down.

Arkane never bothered to canonize it beyond a throwaway line, which is a shame. Would’ve been nice to at least get a note in D2 like “working at the palace laundry” or something. Instead she just vanishes into the void like half the side characters.

It's patently obvious that there was supposed to be two different versions of this part of the game originally and they ran out of time or something, because the betrayal makes literally no logical sense in a low-chaos play through. It in facts actively hurts them to betray you at that point.

I don't know about that but they did cut like three missions from the game, one of which was the largely complete vertical slice that ended up being repurposed for Knife of Dunwall
