But playing it you can see how hard they tried to fit the round peg (Metroid progession gameplay) into the square hole (the free form open world). And so you get the worst of both worlds. Samus ends exactly where she started powers wise (along with elemental blasts), and the linear progression kneecaps any free form exploration and player expression that would come about from an open world format. Tabata also thought he was cooking with Sylux as Samus's main antagonist. But instead he made a walking temper tantrum. He was an absolute embarrassment. And Tabata wanted Sylux to continue to be the headlining villain of the Sylux Saga. If anything, Metroid Prime 4 is worth it just to see how much Tabata had fallen out of touch. Like Francis Ford Copeola and Megalopolis. Rune Factory is solid farming with a Japanese flavor, which makes it different than most other farming sims out there atleast. Cool use of mouse controls for farm management too.
