they're pretty different mechanically, though I must ask, did you play the Odin Sphere remake or the original? I didn't like the original at all mechanically, while I very much did enjoy the remake (except for the fairy girl chapters)

either way Dragon's Crown is like those old Capcom D&D beat em ups but with more meta progression and spellcasters that don't freeze time every time they cast spells.
