would this be difficult for someone bad at soulslike games?
if you're bad at soulslike games then you're bad at fucking everything you retard
>>735052837kek
>>735052745Depends how bad we're talking about
>>735052745easy as sheperds pie
>>735052745it's not a soulslike. it will be difficult if you're not good at character action games maybe. it's not as demanding as devil may cry or ninja gaiden but you do have to learn different moves and work with several techniques.
>>735052745Yes. Not only does it want you killing guys like the optional stone guy in the intro instead of skipping it as soon as you reach him since he becomes missable once you beat the chapter, but the very early boss fight in the river is quite difficult even if you're used to Souls games. Once you get to chapter 2 you'll get A Pluck of Many which then trivializes a lot of the game and bosses to a degree, but a lot of regular encounters and bosses are still fairly difficult, and many bosses past a certain point directly counter APoM. Pretty much every chapter end boss is difficult even if you use their gimmicks, the Scorpionlord is not only unfair but only gives you limited tries, and especially the secret boss. If you aren't good at Soulslikes the secret boss is basically going to be unwinnable because there's no real cheese to beat him, it's all execution.>>735055608>it's not a soulslike. It is 100% a Soulslike just like Sekiro and you are out of your mind to even argue as such. It is nothing close to a character action game as you imply with DMC or NG existing.>Healing items that respawn at bonfire equivalents.>Bonfire equivalents.>Enemies all respawn on death.>Bonfire equivalents are very few and far between and you have to do long stints to reach bosses.>Fighting enemies is learned and done exactly like in a Soulslike with you waiting then poking, the only difference is that you have See Throughs you can weave into it if you are willing to take risks.>Stamina system.>Exploration is exactly like a Souls game including shortcuts back to existing locations.>Equipment system where enemies themselves drop equips or you're given them through quests.>Enemies do ambushes and are structured exactly like in Souls games with archers on outcroppings or enemies around corners that lure you into ambushes which chapter 3 is full of.>Bosses are entirely about posture breaking to deal a bunch of damage. You're the kind of guy who says Nioh and Remnant aren't.
