Can someone explain to me what all the hype over Crimson Desert is for?It just looks like your typical AAA game to me. The world just looks like every other generic fantasy world in video games. The gameplay just seems to be your standard copy-paste open world affair. The graphics are nothing impressive, and if anything they look like shit when compared to other AAA games graphics. When I watched the 2023 trailer, saw the horse drifting and all the other crazy shit is when I decided I would give the game a try but I never thought it'd get hyped and I doubt it's gonna live up to it

This game looks like it suffers from the same issue as The Bloodline: it gives too much power and mobility to the player which as consequence trivializes everything else in the game.Might be fun for the cheap power fantasy, but for 70$?
