Finally started playing VC4 after a friend recommended it years ago, what am I in for? Do I need to know anything about the previous games or are they all somewhat separate? It's basically a fantasy WW2 series right? Did /v/ even play this series?

It's okay, I guess. After going through 1-3 multiple times, I'm so burned out on the franchise and 4 added nothing of value, but it should be fun if it's your first one. 1 would've been better to start from, tho.
