they really needed it because dlss 4.5 is so fucking good

mind you, I do believe that $1000 video cards should be able to play video games at max settings 4k and about 100fps without upscaling, but the technology itself is great now

dlss 1 was dogshit
dlss 2 to dlss 3 was usable in that you could hike up settings to make up for it not being as good as native, but had issues in some games with ghosting and motion issues
dlss 4 was great and dlss 4.5 is retarded good

and it turns out all the built in denoisers fucking suck so them making their own is fixing that a lot similar to dlss overriding taa
