The idea of making a prequel was flawed from the start. And it wasn't even playing as John, they had to make up a new character, one that John never mentioned in RDR.That's not a good idea. Nobody was going "oh, I really want to know what John got up to in his bandit days!" Because he was just an outlaw, it's not like he did anything special. It all just limits them creatively. They should have focused on another gang, a new one.Then there's the rigidness of the missions, the pointlessness of donating to the camp, the story which doesn't really go anywhere, the dumb wanted system that's poorly explained, etc.But it looks nice and it's a great cowboy simulator. It isn't a bad game it just falls into too many obvious holes.
