Denuvo is crucial for week 1. Any antipiracy is. Month 1 I guess if you're doing a sustained launch window (which I think this is), after that, less so. I think squenix finally figured it out, that's why they're yanking it off of titles after 3~6 months, DQ3 HD got it taken off, DQ1-2 got an update recently looking like prepwork for removal.We do know denuvo impacts performance though, I wish devs would just be honest and say "these are the specs you actually want, expect a 10-20% performance loss from denuvo" because that's historically what it's been based on before/afters (and of course the doom eternal launch when that intern gave us both exes at once and we could do 1:1 testing)
