>start an RPG>pick any class that looks interesting>play for an hour>"this class is cool, but i wonder how [other class] plays>restart the game and pick the other class>one hour later>"this class is cool, but i wonder how [other class] plays>restart the game a third time with another class>repeat this over and over for pretty much every class option the game has>get burnt out on replaying the intro so many times>drop the gameHow do i stop this?
>>735073778Accept that you'll inevitably "miss out" unless you play literally every single class in the game. Which is something you surely don't want to. So just make a decision (you can do some research here, like what classes or which roles are covered by companions) and stick with it. Often times going with whatever genuinely piqued your interest is enough. If it's somehow still not fun that's a legit reason to switch classes but don't do it because this endless "what if..." loop that relies on your curiosity and maybe the grass is always greener on the other side mentality. You'd be surprised how many games have an "optimal" class to play either because that was clearly the devs' favorite or maybe the class itself is unique to the setting and the lore.
No need to stop, you're already doing it right. The first hour is the best part of the game anyway.
