1. As another anon pointed out, in the early 2000's there was a big push from the industry to kill off PC gaming and jerk off consoles. The idea of PC gaming being "dead" was something actively pushed and corpos bitched and moaned about heccin evil piracy. So of course (((((((((((game journalists))))))))))))))) trying to scoff at a PC game doesn't surprise me at all.
