I can't listen to her AUUGGHH scream without visualizing Makoto Koji's teeth and nostrils as she makes the noise.

Hornet sounds like a tanned tomboy with short hair.

I want to have one of those big discussion threads for this game like we did back in the first few months, those were comfy.

So lemme try to kick it off with a dumb question. Does Rune Rage need a buff? All I see is people dunk on it. How would you buff it? Are any other silk skills worse than it?

Every time I tried using it it missed so maybe yeah it needs a little buff.
Maybe make the patterns not random or something

Rune Rage appears to be designed for large arenas with several swarming enemies. I wonder if it could be engineered in tandem with an enemy’s pathfinding, landing precisely where the enemy will be when the rune detonates? Ofc, if the enemy’s pathfinding gets interrupted after the rune has been placed, the rune might miss, but I think this setup could work in tandem with builds that seek to trap enemies with tools or the like.

The way it's designed is really strange. Lots of projectiles in Silksong have homing properties, but the runes dont. They target an enemy's location, the explode after a delay, but unlike say, Snare Setter, the AOE isn't big enough to catch moving targets reliably.

It's just strange. Sometimes you'll get a tight cluster of 9 runes all right on top of an enemy. Sometimes 3 of them will fuck off to the other side of the screen. Sometimes they just do whatever, like they're randomly set to either be smart or dumb. Pretty annoying that it misses unless everyone stands still.
