I only ever played 1, did they ever do anything with burglars beyond a simple "if you don't have a 50 dollar burglar alarm over your door you get robbed and if you do you're fine"? Always struck me as a little arbitrary to have the whole mechanic undone by a price point even the most broke Sim on a lot could afford
