I'd like a promising looking new Zelda, I'd like a promising looking Splatoon 4, I'd like either an F-Zero or Starfox revival, I'd like Metroid 6 or a promising looking Metroid Prime 5, I'd like a Kid Icarus Uprising remaster, and I'd like something new that I don't even know I want yet.

DK Bananza definitely interest me, but I don't have a switch 2 because I never buy on launch (Also the prices are crazy this time around for both the system and especially the games). I have this weird thing where I wait for more games to come out (we're getting there) and/or a good price drop on the console (Which isn't looking good right now). Otherwise, dropping like 500$/600$ to play one or two games seem like a bad investment no matter how you spin it (You also can't forget accessories like a pro controller which is also 100$?! Jesus). Metroid prime was okay, but apparently 4 is not good. there's a couple of updated/upgraded games, but I already played most of them on the original switch and it doesn't seem to be worth it to pay for basically an slight upscale for most of them.

Oh, and welcome tour should have been included with the console. It's basically an interactive user manual. Kind of wild they're charging money for this.

Bananza seemingly sold well, and discussion died about as quickly as Odyssey's died despite MUCH smaller install base at the time of release. It's a singleplayer game, there's only so much you can do before you move on, unless you're an autistic speedrunner. It'll get consistent sales as more people buy Switch 2, it's not a system seller like real Nintendo greats like Mario Kart, Smash, Pokemon and Splatoon, but it'll have respectable sales by the end of the lifecycle.

Unironically Bananza is my favorite game of all time. Its easily the best Nintendo game of the last 10 years, probably 20. Such a phenomenal return to form for the franchise thay desperately needed it. Air riders was also a fantastic game and really quality. Only good things about the game was the challenge train, some of the new rhythm games being pretty good, and the final remix towards the end using each game’s main theme and it coinciding with their respective rhythm games. It’s still worth playing somewhat, but when compared to its contemporaries we deserved FAR better. Only hope I have for Groove is the teaser trailer stating there is no story, but that’s somewhat just cope

People will look back on this game like they do so for Sonic Adventure. I don’t think they’ll look at it like SM64, so I’ll compare it something lesser (lol).

I could even compare it to Sunshine, though DKB lacks difficulty. I imagine testers were struggling to maneuver DK in the 3D environment, so they didn’t want to dogpile on those that can’t handle all the sensory input. Yes, it’s easier for those with a strong grasp of virtual 3D orientation, but these games are designed for a general audience.

All in all, this has become one of my favorite games of all time, I love nu-DK, and I’m excited to see him thriving in games set in his world.
